RUGBY League is a physical contact sport played by hard men.
What have they done to our game?
Once there were hard hits on your opponent but now we have banned the shoulder charge.
No more punching, just a lot of pushing and pulling.
If you make a mistake, just put up your hand and your teammates will pat you on the head or shorts and tell you: ‘‘That’s OK, mate.’’
And when the battle is over, players these days don’t shake hands with the opposition that they have tried to belt all day, they give them a big cuddle and hug.
All this and we need two referees?
